AccessoriesI used a soil substrate with this tank and only natural light. The plants are doing great, but alas so is the algae at the moment. I may try to add a couple Amano shrimp. I need to research and see how they do with the Betta.

Eventually the algae cleared up in this tank. Unfortunately our beloved betta died though. Currently the tank is housing about half a dozen cherry shrimp.
