The background is one of those roll backdrops, a dull-finish picture of a natural rock-pile wall; I got it in 1997 at a Big Al's store.

In the right rear corner, Brazilian Pennywort is planted in the substrate but grows up and along the surface. On the left, those are the floating leaves of Red Tiger Lotus. Both plants are in our plant profiles.
